Ms. Therese Lee was able to share the implementation of APACC in ASEAN, as well as promote and create awareness about it. She also discussed the potential benefits of TVET institutions that will undergo APACC accreditation. The presentation also centered on the need to continually develop the quality of TVET institutions, as it requires vigorous engagement and strong commitment of the different stakeholders. In addition, the need to further improve the qualifications of teaching staff, enhance the content and methods of teaching and learning and promote a better TVET education infrastructure were discussed. These were considered as among the most important factors influencing the extent to which TVET quality is achieved and continuous work on quality must be imperative.
She was also able to meet TVET managers and vocational training representatives from Myanmar and Cambodia, with the aim of encouraging them to consider subjecting their institutions to APACC scrutiny.
