The Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission continued with the accreditation process of the Philippine Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes as it visited the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) located in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines last April 1-2, 2009. The team of accreditors included Dr. Rajesh Khambayat as Team Leader and Prof. TJ Tesoro-Gayondato as Co-Accreditor.

JZGMSAT is a TESDA Vocational Training School created by Republic Act 1905 on June 22, 1957. Their vision is: JZGMSAT is a center of excellence in the field of technology contributing to the development of the nation through producing globally competent workforce. Its mission is to provide technical education and training for our stakeholders through innovative techniques essential to produce responsible workers.
JZGMSAT is currently headed by the Vocational School Administrator II, Dr. Rolando V. Dela Torre. There are 18 Certificate Courses being offered by JZGMSAT with duration of 6 months to 1 year.
APACC Accreditors and JZGMSAT Team during validation of Self Study Report
During the on-site visit, the accreditors validated the Self Study Report submitted by JZGMSAT to assess if the institution meets the standards to qualify as an APACC accredited TVET institution through interviews with the Vocational School Administrator, Faculty Members and Staff and ocular inspection of facilities.
