The Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission conducted a two-day on-site visit to the Concepcion Vocational School (CVS), Tarlac City, Philippines on February 23-24, 2009. Prof. Dr. Rajesh Khambayat, led the on-site visit as Team Leader while Prof. TJ Tesoro-Gayondato acted as Co-Accreditor. Also in attendance was Ms. Zenaida Geron, Staff of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) TVET System Development Office and Ms. Adrienne Abril, APACC Staff.
APACC Accreditors with the Concepcion Vocational School Team
CVS is a TESDA Technology Institution created by the Republic Act 8138, an act establishing a vocational school in the municipality of Concepcion, Province of Tarlac, Philippines. CVS’ mission is to develop self-reliant, productive and globally competitive middle-level workforces and entrepreneurs by offering competency-based courses in agriculture and food technology and other livelihood programs. It is presently headed by the Vocational School Administrator, Dr. Virginia B. Bondoc.
APACC Accreditors interviewing Concepcion Vocational School representatives
During the on-site visit, the accreditors validated the Self Study Report submitted by the institution to assess if it meets the standards to qualify as an APACC accredited TVET institution. Interview with the Vocational School Administrator, Instructors, Staff, and Students of the institution were also conducted to strengthen the data gathered by the accreditors as well as to seek their suggestions and views.

Results of the exercise will be sent formally to the concerned institution after the affirmation of the Philippine National Coordinator for Accreditation.
